Organic foods

Believed to be foods which are free from man-made chemicals, Organic foods are said to have been grown in soils which have not been sprayed with any chemical fertilizers or pesticides. This means organic foods are free from any toxic chemicals and therefore may not even enter the bloodstream or body cells. Having these toxic chemicals is believed to be bad for health.

Foods which are non- organic, for example, fruits and vegetables, are said to be sprayed with chemicals and are grown in soils that may have been treated with chemical fertilizers and pesticides.

These chemicals are believed to become toxins inside the body, which is reported to contribute to illnesses and hyperactivity.

Soya

The protein featured in Soya milk is said to help in reducing cholesterol levels in the blood. It also features isoflavone phytoestrogens, natural plant compounds which are reported to weakly mimic the action of the hormones estrogen and so might balance estrogen levels over a long period.

Studies have stated that drinking Soya milk may lower the risk of prostate cancer, and has been thought to be a believed drink for sufferers of diabetes.

Sprouts

A sprout is the mid stages of a seed turning into a plant. It is believed that a sprout possesses all the energy, strength and goodness which may allow it to be changed from a small seed to a large strong plant. It is believed to contain all the nutrients required for the baby plant to grow and eventually allow it to feed itself. It has been stated that sprouts do not contain any additives or chemicals as they are consumed in its true state, providing one with a straight link to nature. The healthiest kind of sprouts is thought to be raw sprouts.

Sprouted seeds are thought to feature more nutrients than any other natural food, including concentrations of valuable enzymes, proteins, mineral substances, and vitamins. They are also believed to feature large amounts of fiber, which is thought to be good for the intestines and monitors the digestive process. Few nutrients are lost during the entire growth period of sprouts. There are many different sprout varieties to select from.
