If ever your device gets moldy, it is because you did not take some time to drain the line and empty the tank after each use. When you use it, add some ounces of mouthwash into the water tank. Run some white vinegar through the tank once in a while followed by two tanks of clean water.

If it does not seat correctly, it will leak from the base of the cleaning tip. If the water goes everywhere, place the cleaning tip in your mouth before turning it on, and then keep your mouth closed around it as usual.

This Waterpik is amazing. I had periodontal pockets of 4mm and 5mm due to a lack of flossing and also noticed some bone loss. There was a need to get clean for a deep gum pocket that was very uncomfortable. I did not like flossing and would find myself not wanting to floss though I needed it very much. Because I was going through the initial stages of periodontal ailment, my gums were swollen, red, and inflamed.

Then I began to use the Waterpik flosser, and immediately I loved this way of flossing! My gums felt much better and were noticeably better after using this product for 5 consecutive nights. My mouth and gums are starting to heal properly and my gums have done a complete 180 after using the Waterpik flossing for 2 weeks, together with mouthwash treatment, and coconut oil pulling,! Although this flosser can have high noise levels, it definitely gets the job done.
